WAEA 2015 Roto-What? Presentation

In May 2021 Mrs. Bjork will present as part of the Davis Publications Media Arts Intensive conference on the topic of Rotoscope Animation. This was a reprise of her 2015 presentation at WAEA fall conference. Mrs. Bjork has also published articles in Davis SchoolArts magazine and Media Arts book on this topic.

In Fall 2015 Mrs. Bjork presented Roto What? Get the Scoop on Rotoscope at the Wisconsin Art Education Association (WAEA) state art education Conference in Appleton, WI on Thursday, October 22nd. The presentation helped fellow Art Educators learn several rotoscope animation techniques using hand drawn frames, Adobe Photoshop and iPad Apps. For the handout from the conference click here. |

During Quarantine, PHS teacher Mr. Lamp and the Introduction to Digital Media class used Photopea with success to create their animation projects. The trick is to keep the files small and to do them in parts. You can then use other software to put all the animations together (Moviemaker, WeVideo, iMovie).
