New Art Offerings in 2024-25 The PHS Visual Art Department proposed new art course offerings with a re-alignment of all classes. The most significant changes include removing the Introduction to Art Class and replacing it with Introduction to Drawing and Painting and Introduction to Ceramics and Sculpture and keeping Introduction to Digital Media. This will allow students to focus more specifically on media. This will allow students to progress sooner to their chosen media strand. We are also adding level 2 and 3 of each media strand to give students an opportunity to explore in their own chosen direction with the media and content of the courses. Watch for an explanation video coming soon. Here is a PDF version of the new course graphic that outlines the changes and the departmental offerings.
