This past summer marked the second Visual Art Department journey to Italy.  It was a fantastic experience for the parents, students and teachers in attendance.  The trip included stops in Venice, Ravenna, Florence, Assisi, Rome and Pompeii.  Students experiences the rich culture of Italy including learning to make handmade pasta and fresh pomodoro sauce.  Students also explored the art treasures of the cities visited.  Worldstrides provided the fantastic guide Guilia and many other local guides as well.  It was a rich and diverse opportunity to see art history come alive in such a beautiful locale.
