Tuesday: Meet in the art room at 8:00 a.m. so we can get on the road for our field trip to MIAD. See the field trip details sheet posted below. Make sure you dress appropriately, bring money and all of the other items listed on the details sheet.
Thursday: Field trip follow-up; time to post assignment to your blog and presentation of new project.

Monday: Pass out permission slips for our Field Trip to MIAD on Tuesday October 29th. Signed slips are due back on Friday this week. Continue working on 3 Breadth pieces due for critique on Friday.
Wednesday: Work day on 3 Breadth pieces. Critique is Friday!
Friday: Critique of 3 Breadth pieces. Field Trip permission slips are due. Details on Trip will be passed out this day. Be sure to be present!!!

Tuesday: Work day on Breadth section of portfolio. Pass out posters and discuss each portfolio. Make sure your thumbnails and written proposal were turned in. Critique will be next Friday on these 3 projects.
Monday: Thumbnails and proposal for 3 Breadth free choice project. Explain how the works you've planned satisfy the Breadth section of the portfolio you wish to do.
Plan field trip for River Hills West Nursing Home.
Wednesday: Field Trip to River Hills West Nursing Home leaving at 9:30 in art room back at 11:40
Friday: No class, CCR day
3 Free Choice Breadth works are due Wednesday, October 23rd for Critique
MIAD- National Portfolio Day is Saturday, October 19.
This is a great way to visit a number of colleges while only going to one in Milwaukee. You can bring your work and get opinions from experts from all over the country. In the past some art students have gotten their portfolios pre-approved for admission to their chosen art school.
